We are pleased to announce that we've been awarded a contract as one of the web/e-commerce design firms to provide design services to the small businesses which will emerge winners of the Go-Global E-commerce Technical Assistance Grant Program.
Dusseau and Co. became one of the contractors added to the roster after responding to a Request For Qualifications And Quotations (RFQQ) put out by the Washington State Department of Commerce calling for applications by design firms with the capacity to provide consulting, design, and technical support required by to develop and integrate e-commerce solutions to enable these small business recipients market and sell their domestically and internationally.
The aim of the Go-Global E-commerce Technical Assistance Grant Program is to help small business owners in disadvantaged communities in the state of Washington recognize the need to incorporate digital solutions and help them erase the location and socioeconomic barriers and scale their business to the next level.
As contractors, our role in the program will be to provide consulting, design, implementation, and support services. Some of the benefits include:
- Website development, translation, and design;
- Implementation of online sales apps or plug-ins to add e-commerce functionality;
- Designing and implementing electronic systems for placing orders, fulfilling orders, processing payments, and booking appointments,
- Assistance with digital marketing, including search engine optimization;
- Assistance with the development of social media strategies and integration with app-based/online delivery services;
- Translation of marketing media;
- Training on e-commerce platform used;
- Training materials in multiple languages accommodate Washington's diverse population, allowing business owners and their staff to use and maintain new e-commerce tools created or implemented effectively.
